BIG FIVE CHAMPIONSHIP GOLF COURSE HOLIDAY (10 Days)

Day 1
Arrive in the beautiful city of Cape Town. A representative from the African Pathfinder team will personally meet you, assist you with your hired car and escort you to the Steenberg Hotel and Golf Estate. Spend 3 nights here, in a luxury suite including breakfast daily and two rounds of golf (one at Steenberg and another at Clovelly or similar):
STEENBERG HOTEL, WINE & GOLF ESTATE
Nestled at the foothills of the Constantiaberg Mountains, Steenberg Estate is simply beautiful. You would hardly believe that you are in the big city of Cape Town as you gaze over the vineyards and exquisitely manicured golf course. Dine on award-wining cuisine at the Catharina's restaurant, sample the fine, also award-winning wines from the estate and of course, play your best round of golf.
Days 1 - 3
Enjoy a round of golf at the Steenberg Estate, and another at the popular Clovelly Club. Take a day's rest between games and explore the many attractions of this beautiful city.
Day 4
Check out of Steenberg and make your way to the winelands region of Stellenbosch. Enjoy a light lunch on a beautiful wine estate and thereafter a fabulous round of golf at the beautiful De Zalze course. Overnight at the hotel on a bed and breakfast basis, including a round of golf.
KLEINE ZALZE LODGE
Kleine Zalze is situated on the outskirts of the historical and picturesque Stellenbosch town. A working wine estate as well as home to a champion golf course, Kleine Zalze is the ideal destination for any golf and wine enthusiast. Enjoy fabulous views from your room over the vineyards, golf course and Helderberg Mountains.
Day 5:
Today your journey takes you up the famous Garden Route . a scenic drive that winds through wide-open farmlands to dramatic coastal vistas. Spend 2 nights at the famous Fancourt Hotel & Golf estate, including breakfast daily and a round of golf:
FANCOURT HOTEL & COUNTRY CLUB
Nestled at the foothills of the Outeniqua Mountains, the Fancourt estate is exquisite. What makes this destination a popular choice is of course its world-famous golf courses. The hotel exudes a combination of old-world charm and modern luxury, with a choice of accommodation in either the Manor House or beautiful Garden Suites.
Day 6:
Play a round of golf in the morning on one of the 4 Gary Player designed courses - the Links having been host to many championships including the Presidents Cup. In the afternoon, take a drive to the nearby town of Oudtshoorn and explore the Cango Caves, a working Ostrich farm and the historical sites.
Day 7:
No need to rush off today so enjoy a leisurely morning at Fancourt. Meander along the beautiful coast, through Wilderness and Sedgefield to Knysna. Follow the road as it hugs the expansive lagoon, eventually making your way up the mountainside to the spectacular Pezula Hotel. Spend 3 nights in a luxurious room with breakfast daily and a round of golf at the award winning, Championship Golf Course.
PEZULA
Pezula, meaning "on top" is perched high above the town of Knysna, with breath-taking views over the lagoon and ocean. The resort offers a variety of activities from golf, horse-riding, canoeing on the river and treatments at the world-class spa. Dine on sumptuous cuisine in the restaurant and retire to the comfort of your luxury room for a peaceful night's sleep.
Days 7 - 9:
Spend time between rounds of golf, exploring this popular holiday region. The natural beauty beckons you to soak up the warm African climate and indulge the senses with spectacular scenery, inhale fresh sea air, feel the soft sandy beaches under your feet and listen to the sounds of the birds in the thick Knysna Forest.
Day 10:
Check out of Pezula after another delicious breakfast. Make your way to George airport, drop off your hired car and check in for your flight to Cape Town. Once in Cape Town, proceed to the International Departures and check in for your flight home.
