A TRUE ISLAND ESCAPE

Day 1
Depart from O.R. Thambo International Airport (JHB) on a flight destined for Pemba, Mozambique. On arrival in Pemba, a member of the Quilalea team will escort you by boat to the fabulous, private island. Spend 5 nights at this glorious haven in a private villa including all meals, local beverages, snorkeling, fly fishing and dhow excursions:
QUILALEA
Quilalea is our idea of an ultimate island escape. Unlike many other beach destinations, Quilalea has only nine private villas, so there is no "resort" feeling, no schedules of noisy water activities, no scores of holiday-makers. Instead this is a place where you feel at ease, warmly welcome and in paradise! The emphasis is on the sanctuary and environment and therefore the sea life and beaches are pristine and unspoilt. Scuba diving and snorkeling in these waters are amongst the best in the world.
Day 1 - 5
Choose to do as much or as little as you wish while staying at Quilalea. Take a canoe trip and watch exotic birds in the mangroves, discover the vast sea life whilst Scuba diving or just snorkeling, feel the heat of the sun as you laze on the beach, take a swim in the warm ocean or enjoy a historical tour of nearby forts on Ibo Island. The staff are on hand to cater to your every whim as the chef prepares fresh, delicious cuisine served either on the beach or in the open terrace dining room.
Day 6
Take a stroll on the beach or a dip in the ocean before packing up. Say sad farewells to your friends at Quilalea as you depart by boat to the mainland. Check in for your flight back to Johannesburg and onward home from there.
